Join us in July and August 2025 for Laramie’s HISTORIC LOCAL FARMERS MARKET!
Local farm produce, baked goods and prepared foods, crafts, live music, kids games and activities, non-profit resources and more!
Tuesday Local Market began nearly 2 decades ago as Laramie Local Community Market, with the goal of providing a local farmers market experience to the community. In 2015, the organization registered with the IRS and the State of Wyoming as Thursday Local Market and continued the tradition of bringing fresh local produce, baked and prepared foods, crafts, kids activities and occasionally music to Laramie in Undine Park.
Times were tough during the Covid pandemic. Vendor and customer participation dwindled, and the market closed its “outdoors doors” after the 2021 season.
Fast forward to the summer of 2023. While Laramie’s Downtown Farmers Market continues to thrive in Depot Park, there was wistful talk of days past when vendors could work and customers could shop in a quieter, relaxed and family (and dog!)-friendly atmosphere- barefoot if preferred! Many in our community, while acknowledging the value of the downtown market, longed for the days when a conversation could be had without yelling over the wind, the trains or the crowds, and where market access was easier for those who are less mobile.
A woman with a love of and for her community drafted a survey and presented it via email and social media in the winter of 2024. The results were astounding- over 100 people completed the survey within the first 24 hours, and of all the respondents over time, only one answered, “No, that market died for a reason” in response to the question of whether people would like to see the market return. Over half of respondents requested to be kept in the loop, with several expressing interest in volunteering to help out.
So the market was reborn on Tuesdays to accommodate the request of 2 out of of 3 respondents to our survey. WE ARE LOCAL. WE ARE COMMUNITY.

Thursday Local Market dba Tuesday Local Market is led by a dedicated Board of 5 locals: President Bruce Embury of WY B’s Bees, a market vendor for many years; VP Jamie Clarke, LCCC Psychology Instructor and Leadership Laramie alum; Secretary Lisa Cox, former Board President and vendor Red Door Kitchen; Treasurer Cynthia “Cid” Walck, long-time Manager in Accounting at UWYo; and Member-at-Large Rick Kent, owner of market anchor vendor Sheila Bird Farms.
Our Manager for the 2024 season, BreeAnna Mustad (below), a local artist, comes to the market with oodles of experience in the hospitality industry, and with enthusiasm and a love for community!
